Monty Murry, President

Monty is serving his second term as President of the Foundation. Monty has been a member of the Texarkana Club since 2018 serving as Distinguished President in 2021-2022 and Distinguished Lt. Governor, Div. 13 2021-2024. He currently is the Risk Management Chair for the T-O Kiwanis District and is also a Certified Instructor.

Susan Hennum, Executive Director

Susan is a member of the Northeast Dallas Co. Kiwanis Club. Susan is a past Distinguished Governor (2011/2012) and has served the District and Kiwanis International in many positions. Susan started the T-O Women in Kiwanis Award through the Foundation her year as Governor. Currently she is the Meetings Coordinator for the Kiwanis District and serves on the Disaster Relief Team.

Courtney Harris, Vice President

Courtney Harris is the current Vice-President for the Foundation Board and is also serving as Administrator. She is a proud past Key Clubber and current member of the Edmond and Jones Oklahoma Kiwanis Clubs along with serving as a board member for PLGA and the 25-26 Public Relations Coordinator for the T-O Kiwanis District.

Jerry Ward, Secretary

Jerry joined Kiwanis in 1987 and is a member of the Kiwanis club of Edmond, Oklahoma. He serves as Secretary for the Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation. Jerry served as President of the Foundation from 2003-2005. For the Texas Oklahoma District of Kiwanis Jerry was Governor 2007-2008 and was a distinguished club President and Lt. Governor.

John Meinders, Treasurer

John joined the Kiwanis Club of East Tulsa in 1988, where he served in various positions, including Club President. John joined the Kiwanis Club of Tulsa in the spring of 2013 and was President of the Tulsa Kiwanis Club in 2022-2023. He began serving as the Treasurer of the Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation in 2025.

Dr. Claude Cunningham, Trustee Region 1

Claude is a 28 year member of the Kiwanis Club of Mansfield. He has served as club president for three terms and was honored to be a Distinguished Club President for the 2022-2023 Kiwanis Year. He currently serves on the Club Board of Directors. He has held several District-Level positions. He is a certified CLE trainer, has been Lt. Governor of Division 39 for three terms,

Dr. Kathy Culbertson, Trustee Region 1

Kathy has spent 30 years in Kiwanis, starting out as a key Club faculty advisor for a high school in Fort Worth and progressing to secretary, Lieutenant Governor, Governor-Elect, and District Governor (2023/2024). She is a member of the Fort Worth and Weatherford Kiwanis Club.

Gregoria Guerrero-Cardenas, Trustee Region 2

Gregoria is serving her second year as Vice President of the Bilingual Kiwanis Club of Montgomery County. She is proud to serve her community through Kiwanis and to continue making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Dr. Aaron Salinas, Trustee Region 3

Aaron joined the Kiwanis family in 2017 and is a proud member of the Kiwanis Club of Edinburg For the past two years, Dr. Salinas has served as the Division 11 Lieutenant Governor, where he has focused on promoting youth leadership, service, and civic engagement across the region.

Gilbert Guzman, Trustee Region 4

Gilbert joined the Amarillo Hi-Plains Kiwanis in February of 1976. During his time he has served 2 terms as President, 2 terms as Secretary, has held all of the offices in the club. Gilbert has 46 years of perfect attendance!

Gilbert has served as Lt. Governor for Division 22 and is a life member of the Past Lt. Governors Association. He is also a George F. Hixson Fellow.

Denise Kornegay, Trustee Region 5

Denise is a 10 year member of the Kiwanis Club of Paris. She served as club president for 2019-2020. Denise currently serves as club secretary and was a Distinguished Club Secretary for 2023-2024. She is the Kiwanis Adviser for K-Kids at Crockett Intermediate School.

Becky Hartman, Trustee Region 6

Becky Hartman is our Trustee for Region 6. Becky is a member of the San Angelo Kiwanis club where she has been President of the club twice and has served as Lieutenant Governor for Division 12 for two years. Becky is also a life member of the PLGA. This is her second year as a Trustee for Region 6, Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation. Becky serves as Advisor for the Key Club at SACHS and has served on many other committees.

John lives in Round Rock, Texas. He has been a member of at least five different Kiwanis clubs since joining in Comanche in 1999; He has served as secretary and president of several of those clubs, and Lt. Governor of Division 24 twice and Trustee for K-O from Region 10. He was recently honored with a Hixson Fellowship from his home club, and is a Life Member of PLGA.
